To add controls to your eaForm open the required form by selecting the form from the list and either:
| • | pressing the Edit button or |
| • | double clicking on the entry |
to launch the WYSIWYG editing environment.
Using the eaForms Builder form the designer can edit the form and add/modify controls.
The normal way to add a control with the eaFormBuilder is to select an empty location on the form using the eaForms Builder Form Context Menu, accessed by using the Right Hand Mouse button with the mouse placed on the form, and accessing the following functions:
The functions available are:
| • | Edit Form - which starts the Control Definition Editor for the current form |
| • | Add Controls - see Adding controls for a list of controls |
| • | Redraw Form - will redraw the form |
If multiple elements are selected (selection is done by using the Control+LeftHandMouse Button on controls - and the controls will be highlighted with red-handles or full red-colour)
| • | Align Controls - provides the ability to align the currently selected controls |
| • | Size Controls - provides the ability to size the current selected controls |
| • | Undo last - will revert changes of the last size/alignment operation |
To add a control, select a point within the eaForm design area, open the context menu, select Add control and select the desired control:
A control dependent dialog with be presented to the designer as outlined in the following sections.
