eaForms provides several licence types:
| • | Run-time - supports the execution of eaForms and is provided in ALL version of eaForms. The ability to use Form Definitions is managed through the "Designer" licence. |
| • | Professional - provides the Form Design functions and use of the product for a single user. The Professional version does not support the export of Form Definitions that can be used by others who do not have a Professional licence or above |
| • | Corporate - provides all the functions of the Professional Edition plus support to generated forms for use within the licensed organisation (single site); the designer is responsible for generating and distribution to the password to be used to validate forms for their organisation. |
| • | Enterprise - provides all the functions of the Corporate Edition plus a license to distribute to a multi-site enterprise; the designer is responsible for generating and distribution to the password to be used to validate forms for their organisation. |
eaForms does not provide an individual licence for a run-time only user but instead manages the licensing through a password mechanism that is managed by the Forms Designers. When they produce a Forms Definition library that can be loaded by a user (normally set to load automatically) the forms are validated against a password provided by the Form Designer.
To set this password go to the Licence Information menu
Select the "Key management" tab and enter the password supplied into the "Import password" window - as below and press the "Import Run Time Password" button.
You should now be able to load the Form Definitions by going to the "List Form Definitions" window and select / load file as required or assuming the filenames have been set and Autoload has been enabled, simply restart EA. Note that only a single password can be used at any one time.
